Prep is 90% of a coating
A coating only bonds to bare, decontaminated, polished paint. The order that works: wash, iron and tar decontamination, clay, correction on the polisher, a panel wipe to remove polishing oils, then the coating in a shaded, dust-free space with the panel cool to the touch. Skip the panel wipe and the coating sits on oils instead of paint — the usual cause of a coating that "didn't last."
Glass gets its own routine: G4 polish to strip old rain repellents and road film, then G1 applied thin and levelled before it flashes.
Layering and cure
CSL followed by EXOv5 is the common pro stack — CSL for durability and chemical resistance, EXO for water behavior and gloss. Follow the label windows between layers and keep the vehicle dry through the initial cure. C2v3 is the maintenance sealant to hand the customer for the months between visits.
