What we stock
- Rupes BigFoot LHR15 and LHR21 — the 15 mm and 21 mm random-orbital polishers most paint-correction crews build around.
- Rupes iBrid — the compact machine for emblems, door jambs, pillars and tight curves.
- Rupes pads — foam and wool in the cutting, polishing and finishing grades, sized to the BigFoot backing plates.
- Rupes D-A compounds and polishes — coarse through ultra-fine, designed for the machines above.
Stock rotates with the season and the week's jobs. Call 571-532-0321 to confirm a specific machine or pad size is on the shelf today, or ask the counter to hold one.
Pick the machine at the counter, not from a spec sheet
The right throw depends on the panels you actually polish. Large, flat hoods and roofs reward the LHR21; doors, curves and mixed work usually favor the LHR15; the iBrid handles what neither reaches. Our counter runs these machines — bring your questions, and if a Rupes isn't the right buy for how you work, we'll say so.
Pad and compound pairing
Match the pad to the correction step, not the machine: cutting pads with the coarse compound for defect removal, polishing pads with the fine polish for refinement, finishing pads with the ultra-fine to set gloss before a sealant or a coating. Keep a spare set of each grade in the truck — pads that are loaded with product cut slower and haze more.
FAQ
Where can I buy a Rupes polisher near me in Virginia?
Shine Works Supply stocks Rupes at both stores: 11900 Livingston Rd Ste 139, Manassas (Mon–Fri 7–6, Sat 9–3) and 10817 Courthouse Rd, Fredericksburg (Mon–Fri 8–4, Sat 9–3). Call 571-532-0321 to confirm the model you want is in stock.
LHR15 or LHR21 — which should I buy first?
If most of your work is doors, curves and mixed panels, the 15 mm throw is the more versatile first machine. If you correct a lot of large flat panels, the 21 mm covers ground faster. Bring your typical job to the counter and we'll help you choose.
Do you carry Rupes pads and compounds, or just the machines?
Both. Rupes foam and wool pads in the cutting, polishing and finishing grades, plus the D-A compound and polish line, are stocked alongside the machines.
